Salah satu penyumbang terbesarnya adalah emisi karbon dioksida (CO2) dari aktivitas industri. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, para ilmuwan dan inovator mengembangkan berbagai solusi, salah satu yang paling menjanjikan adalah teknologi <b data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"364\">Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU)<\/b>.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"5\">Apa Itu Teknologi CCU?<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">Berbeda dengan <i data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"15\">Carbon Capture and Storage<\/i> (CCS) yang hanya menangkap dan menyimpan emisi karbon di bawah tanah, CCU melangkah lebih jauh. <b data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"138\">CCU<\/b> adalah serangkaian teknologi yang dirancang untuk menangkap CO2 dari sumber emisi (seperti pabrik atau pembangkit listrik) atau langsung dari udara terbuka, lalu mengubahnya menjadi produk yang memiliki nilai ekonomi dan fungsional.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7\">Singkatnya, CCU mengubah limbah yang merusak bumi menjadi sumber daya yang berguna.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"8\">Bagaimana Cara Kerjanya?<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">Proses CCU umumnya melibatkan dua tahapan utama:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"10\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"10,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Penangkapan (Capture):<\/b> Teknologi seperti <i data-path-to-node=\"10,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"41\">scrubber<\/i> kimia atau material penyerap khusus digunakan untuk memisahkan CO2 dari gas buang industri sebelum sempat terlepas ke atmosfer.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Pemanfaatan (Utilization):<\/b> Karbon yang berhasil ditangkap kemudian diproses melalui reaksi kimia atau biologis untuk diubah menjadi berbagai macam produk.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"11\">Produk Hasil Pemanfaatan Karbon<\/h3>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"12\">Karbon yang ditangkap tidak dibiarkan begitu saja.
