Fenomena ini bukan sekadar masalah kebisingan, melainkan ancaman serius bagi umur pakai peralatan pompa di pabrik.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-562\" src=\"https:\/\/himatemia.eng.unila.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/cav1-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/himatemia.eng.unila.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/cav1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/himatemia.eng.unila.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/cav1.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\"><b data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Bagaimana Kavitasi Terjadi?<\/b> Secara termodinamika, kavitasi terjadi ketika tekanan lokal fluida di dalam pompa (biasanya di area <i data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"128\">eye of impeller<\/i>) turun hingga di bawah tekanan uapnya (<i data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"183\">vapor pressure<\/i>) pada suhu operasi tersebut. Hal ini menyebabkan fluida mendidih secara instan dan membentuk gelembung-gelembung uap.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">Namun, masalah sebenarnya muncul ketika gelembung uap ini bergerak ke area yang bertekanan lebih tinggi. Gelembung tersebut akan pecah (<i data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"136\">collapse<\/i>) secara mendadak, menghasilkan gelombang kejut (<i data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"193\">shock wall<\/i>) dengan tekanan yang sangat tinggi (bisa mencapai ribuan Psi) dalam skala mikroskopis. Ledakan kecil yang terus-menerus inilah yang mengikis permukaan logam <i data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"361\">impeller<\/i>, menciptakan lubang-lubang kecil yang kita kenal sebagai <i data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"427\">pitting<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\"><b data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">NPSH: Parameter Penentu<\/b> Dalam perancangan, kita mengenal <i data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"57\">Net Positive Suction Head<\/i> (NPSH). Kavitasi akan terjadi jika NPSH <i data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"123\">Available<\/i> (NPSHA) lebih kecil daripada NPSH <i data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"167\">Required<\/i> (NPSHR) yang ditentukan oleh manufaktur pompa.
