Berbeda dari hidrogen konvensional, hidrogen hijau diproduksi melalui elektrolisis air yang menggunakan energi terbarukan, seperti tenaga surya dan angin. Proses ini tidak menghasilkan emisi karbon, menjadikannya solusi ramah lingkungan untuk menggantikan bahan bakar fosil.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Potensi hidrogen hijau sangat luas. Di sektor transportasi, ia dapat digunakan sebagai bahan bakar untuk kendaraan sel bahan bakar (fuel cell), yang hanya menghasilkan uap air sebagai emisi. Dalam penyimpanan energi, hidrogen hijau berfungsi sebagai medium untuk menyimpan kelebihan energi dari sumber terbarukan. Elektrolisis membutuhkan teknologi canggih dan investasi besar, sementara infrastruktur untuk distribusi dan penggunaannya masih terbatas. Meski begitu, perkembangan teknologi dan dukungan kebijakan global diharapkan dapat menurunkan biaya serta mempercepat adopsi hidrogen hijau.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Pemerintah di berbagai negara, termasuk Indonesia, mulai mengintegrasikan hidrogen hijau dalam strategi energi nasional. Dengan potensi besar sumber daya terbarukan di Indonesia, seperti tenaga surya dan angin, hidrogen hijau dapat menjadi langkah strategis menuju transisi energi yang berkelanjutan.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dengan investasi yang tepat, hidrogen hijau tidak hanya mampu mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan tetapi juga membuka peluang ekonomi baru melalui pengembangan industri dan penciptaan lapangan kerja.
