Program kerja ini dilaksanakan di Desa Wiyono, Kecamatan Gedong Tataan, Pesawaran. Pada kesempatan kali ini, mahasiswa aktif teknik kimia membuat produk keteknikkimiaan yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat desa yaitu pupuk kompos. Tema dari kegiatan ini adalah \u201cOptimalisasi Pengolahan Limbah Kotoran Ternak menjadi Pupuk Organik melalui Partisipasi Warga Desa Wiyono\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tujuan dari kegiatan Himatemia Mengabdi ialah untuk memanfaatkan limbah organik yang biasanya hanya terbuang sia-sia, supaya dapat diolah menjadi pupuk kompos yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat desa.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Pada pembuatan pupuk kompos kali ini terdiri dari bahan-bahan yang relatif mudah didapatkan dan terjangkau seperti kotoran ternak, sampah organik, dan sekam. Pupuk kompos sendiri dapat membantu menjaga kepadatan tanah yang ideal, memberikan struktur yang baik bagi pertumbuhan akar tanaman. Maka dapat kita ketahui bahwasannya pupuk kompos lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pupuk kimia karena ada banyak kelebihan pupuk kompos, tidak hanya baik untuk tanaman, kompos juga memudahkan penguraian sampah organik dan mengembalikan nutrisi tanah.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dalam kegiatan ini, Himatemia Mengabdi juga mengadakan sosialisasi mengenai pupuk kompos, seperti cara pembuatan pupuk kompos, proses pengaplikasiannya, dan hasil akhir yang akan di dapatkan setelah pemakaian pupuk kompos tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_241\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-241\" style=\"width: 264px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-241 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/himatemia.eng.unila.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Picture4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"264\" height=\"171\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-241\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Sosialisasi Pembuatan Pupuk<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_239\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-239\" style=\"width: 264px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-239 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/himatemia.eng.unila.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Picture3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"264\" height=\"171\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-239\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Pembuatan Pupuk Kompos<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Pembuatan pupuk kompos tidak hanya menghemat biaya produksi, tetapi juga memberikan banyak manfaat lainnya, seperti memperbaiki struktur tanah, meningkatkan kandungan organik tanah, dan mengurangi penggunaan pupuk kimia yang dapat merusak lingkungan.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Kami berharap melalui kegiatan Himatemia Mengabdi ini dapat bermanfaat dan meningkatkan minat masyarakat desa untuk menjadi lebih produktif dalam mengolah limbah organik menjadi produk yang lebih bermanfaat bagi lingkungan sekitar.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_242\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-242\" style=\"width: 261px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-242 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/himatemia.eng.unila.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Picture5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"261\" height=\"171\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-242\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Pengecekan Pupuk Kompos<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Himatemia FT Unila pada Periode 2024 kali ini telah mengadakan program kerja Himatemia Mengabdi, yang diadakan oleh Departemen Riset Himatemia FT Unila.
